二、研究兴趣
当前工作涉及果蝇的访花及繁殖行为、果蝇卵丝和阳基侧突多型性（polyphenism）的进化生态学机制以及果蝇若干类群的系统分类等。2016年1月至今担任国际昆虫学SCI收录期刊Entomological Science编委。迄今发表学术论文47篇，包括以第一作者发表在PNAS、BMC Evol Biol、Mol Phylogenet Evol、Genes Genomes Genetics等期刊上的一系列论文。发表果蝇新属1个（凤仙花果蝇属）、新种200余个；所发表论文迄今被Science、PNAS、Biological Review、eLife等期刊引用近500次。
